“The key to change is to let go of fear.”
I came across this quote from Rosanne Cash the other day as I was thinking about how fear can paralyze us from sometimes the simplest of pursuits. All because when we are facing the unknown, our imaginations take over and a perfectly mundane task suddenly erupts into a mountain we could never conquer, so why try?
I think this is the struggle some women with hair loss face when taking the first steps to research their options for hair loss solutions. Hair loss is typically associated with aging men, but more than ever, women experience female pattern thinning and balding as a result of hormonal changes, thyroid disorders, medical treatments and stress as well as through genetic predisposition to hair loss.
Women research solutions for female hair loss, but it’s not uncommon that it take several attempts before they gather the courage to schedule a consultation. It’s difficult for women to discuss their hair loss problems, but once they let go and overcome that mountain of unfounded fear, find a hair replacement specialist that meets their comfort level and standards, the rest of the journey is an easy, downhill ride. Then their fear is likely replaced with the regret that they didn’t take action sooner.
